A breathtaking view of Central Park, looking north from the outdoor deck of The Rooftop, located at 124 West 57th Street. A good spot for any Rooftop NYC bar crawl.
A review of Sweet Spot in Astoria, Queens
Located at 22-72 31st Street (right at Ditmars Blvd stop on the N/Q subway), Sweet Spot is a sports bar/lounge. Sweet Spot offers 24 tap beers, solid bar food, but something feels a bit overdone here. Perhaps too many TVs make it slightly oversaturated. For World Cup watchers, this will be a great spot to watch. For all you American football fans, we imagine that Sweet Spot would make for good college football Saturday or NFL Sunday viewing.
Rooftop NYC bar hopping
Now that the local weather has (finally!) turned to seasonal late Spring-like weather, we’ve included several rooftop bars around Manhattan on some of our recent pub crawls. Among others, The Roof (atop the Viceroy hotel in Midtown), Bar 54 (also in Midtown) and the Roof at Park South. In the coming days, we’ll share photos of the views from these rooftop spots.

A review of Black Forest Brooklyn in Fort Greene
Located at 733 Fulton Street in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, Black Forest Brooklyn is a German beer bar and restaurant. Black Forest Brooklyn offers 14 taps of German imported beer (mainly the usual suspects, Hofbrau, Kostritzer, etc) and classic German-American fare. Fairly spacious, Black Forest Brooklyn offers six picnic tables, ten tables for two and a spacious bar area. We look forward to a return visit on our next pub crawl through the area.
