Located at 22 West 46th street, St. Patrick’s Pub is the latest Midtown Manhattan Irish pub lunch /after-work spot from the same owners as other Midtown spots, such as the numerous Playwright taverns, McGee’s and McHale’s (the new McHale’s on 51st Street). Food offerings include a mix of sandwich / wrap fare and some traditional Irish plates. Tap beer offerings are a fairly standard mix of US large craft beers and imports. The spot is Bi-level with a small outdoor area in the back of the second floor. Friendly staff is a plus here. St. Patrick’s Pub is worth a visit and a good addition to any Midtown Irish NYC pub crawl.

A review of The Hop Shop in Brooklyn's Cobble Hill
Located at 121 Columbia Street, way off the beaten path at the western edge of Cobble Hill in Brooklyn, The Hop Shop is a quality craft beer bar. The Hop Shop offers 14 frequently-rotated craft beers plus numerous more bottled ones. The tap beer selection is a mix of local tri-state beers and other American craft offerings. Like a good beer bar, The Hop Shop offers half-pints for your sampling pleasure. There’s a self-service popcorn popper and a small backyard area. Even if this spot is out of the way, it’s well worth your visit. We look forward to returning to The Hop Shop on our next NYC pub crawl along Columbia Street!

A review of Wolfe Tone's Irish Pub in Manhattan's NoMad
Located at 37 East 29th St., Wolfe Tone’s is a new Irish pub for the NoMad neighborhood. Long and fairly dark, this spot strikes us as a solid place for the long winter months that lie just ahead. Wolfe Tone’s offers 20 tap beers; mostly standard options plus a few US craft beers. Happy hour specials run noon – 7pm. The food menu offers a mix of Irish fare and some standard bar bites. Add in the several TVs tuned to sports and Wolfe Tone’s is good spot for your next NoMad NYC pub crawl.
A brief review of Topaz in Brooklyn's Williamsburg
Located at 251 Bushwick Ave, Topaz is another cocktail bar for East Williamsburg. Topaz is an overall great spot with a small outdoor area in back. Topaz is conveniently located near the Montrose Ave L-train stop (and is right next to the bar Post No Bills). House cocktails and a few craft beers round out the main liquid attractions.
A review of Ted's Corner Tavern in Manhattan's Murray Hill
Located at 523 third Ave in Manhattan’s Murray Hill (in the old Third and Long location), Ted’s Corner Tavern is a solid craft beer bar in a part of town that can really use such a spot. Thirty taps of quality craft beers from around the U.S. are a draw, as are the specialty cocktails. Some window seating available for prime people watching at the intersection of 3rd Avenue and 35th Street. Food menu primarily consists of small plates and pita sandwiches, with a lean toward Eastern Mediterranean cuisine. Teds opens at 5pm daily and is definitely worth a visit on your next NYC pub crawl through the nabe.

Located at 929 Columbus Avenue in Manhattan’s Morningside Heights, Bob’s Your Uncle (a phrase used to imply “everything is all right”) is a fairly spacious minimalist decor new craft beer bar for this neighborhood. Ten quality taps, mostly NY or other regional US craft brews are available. Bar is on the left, several high top tables opposite the bar make up the majority of the seating area. A review of West End Hall in Manhattan's Morningside Heights
Located at 2756 Broadway in Manhattan’s Morningside Heights, West End Hall picks up where Five Lamps Tavern left off. Twenty very quality tap beers are the main draw (full bar also available). There’s some outdoor seating along Broadway. The main seating area inside comprise of 4-6 person communal tables. A sizeable backyard spot holds numerous communal tables. The food menu is a mix of German beer hall food mixed in with bar/bistro fare (brunch available on weekends). We look forward to returning here.
A review of Bill Baker's in Williamsburg, Brooklyn
Located off the beaten path at 364 Grand Street, along the border between North Side and South Side in Brooklyn’s Williamsburg, Bill Baker’s is a solid craft beer bar to begin or end your Brooklyn NYC Grand Street bar crawl. The 16 tap beers are mainly from the tri-state area. Food is a mix of upscale bar and bistro fare. Sidewalk seating is available in warm weather, though the nearby BQE doesn’t make Bill Baker’s the best outdoor drinking spot in the area. The layout is half bar and half table seating. Bill Baker’s is an overall great spot.
