Rooftop NYC bar hopping
Now that the local weather has (finally!) turned to seasonal late Spring-like weather, we’ve included several rooftop bars around Manhattan on some of our recent pub crawls. Among others, The Roof (atop the Viceroy hotel in Midtown), Bar 54 (also in Midtown) and the Roof at Park South. In the coming days, we’ll share photos of the views from these rooftop spots.

On the excitement of Memorial Day Weekend
Memorial Day weekend just may be our favorite weekend of the year here at Pub Crawl NYC. Sometimes it’s appropriate for a quick trip out of town, other times, it’s good to stick around town and go on a NYC bar crawl or three. As the weekend marks the unofficial beginning of summer, the weather almost always delivers. It was on a Memorial Day weekend long ago that we participated in our very first pub crawl. So, whether you’re staying in town or traveling for the long weekend, have a great time, stay safe and happy pub crawling!
Is Paulaner Brauhaus closed for business?
We recently came across news that the Paulaner Brauhaus on the Bowery in Manhattan’s Lower East Side was closing for business. We visited Paulaner Brauhaus fairly recently. The bar’s website says that the spot is “closed due to renovation”. It strikes us odd that they would be renovating less than six months after opening for business. But, we certainly hope they are renovating and not closing permanently. Do you have any further information on this topic? If so, please share in the comment space below.
