Where to watch the 2018 World Cup in NYC, according to the New York Times
We can across a NYTimes article, which describes spots to catch the matches, sorted by participating nation. Not all spots are bars, as some are restaurants or social clubs. We’ve been to nearly all the bars listed in this article and look forward to visiting the ones we haven’t been to yet.
Happy Flag Day 2018!

Fraunces Tavern, 54 Pearl Street in Manhattan’s Financial District. George Washington hung out here.
Loopy Doopy, rooftop bar atop Conrad Hotel in Battery Park City. Great view of Statue of Liberty and the relatively late sunset.

Some brief thoughts for Memorial Day weekend 2018
Memorial Day weekend just may be our favorite weekend of the year here at Pub Crawl NYC. Sometimes, the weekend is an opportunity for a quick trip out of town; other times, it’s great to stick around town and go on a NYC bar crawl or three. As the weekend marks the unofficial beginning of summer, the weather almost always delivers (though this weekend may be an exception). It was on this weekend long ago that we participated in our very first bar crawl and we’ve been a big fan of bar crawls ever since! So, whether you’re staying in town or traveling for the long weekend, have a great time, stay safe and happy pub crawling!
Bar Crawling in Astoria, Queens
Not long after our NYC bar crawl in Lower Manhattan, we had the opportunity to pub crawl in Astoria, Queens. We always have a great time bar hopping in Astoria. We’ll share a few thoughts on our recent Astoria visit in the coming days.
Pub Crawling in Lower Manhattan
We recently went NYC bar hopping in Chelsea and Greenwich Village, visiting spots such as The Woodstock and Bar Freud. In the coming days, we’ll share some brief thoughts on those two spots, among others. Stay tuned.
