Located at 10-28 46th Avenue in Long Island City, Queens, Fifth Hammer is a recent newcomer to the LIC craft brewery scene. The space is an old garage, half of which is the actual brewery, the other half is the bar / tasting room. On a warm day, patrons can sit next to the open garage doors and enjoy the 46th Avenue people watching. The on-site brewed beer selection numbers around 15-16 and is, shall we say, somewhat eclectic. Several sours, some various takes on IPAs and saisons. Open seven days per week for visitors, Fifth Hammer is a great addition to the LIC craftbeer pub crawl.
