Located at 53-22 Roosevelt Avenue at the western edge of Woodside, Queens, Solid State is a great craft-beer focused bar for an area of town that is rather lacking in them.  Solid State’s draught beer offerings number around 16 and focus almost exclusively on beers brewed in NY State with an emphasis on those from NYC and nearby counties.  The beer pours are generally in the half-pint and full pint sizes.  The space consists of the bar area in the front third of the space, along with a large seating area in the middle third and the back offers several pinball machines (board games also available).  With a knowledgeable and friendly staff, Solid State is a must-visit for any Woodside NYC bar crawl.
