Located at 938 Amsterdam Avenue in Manhattan’s Morningside Heights, Dive 106 is the fourth and furthest north location of the Upper West Side Dive Bar.  This address has been home to other bars in the not-so-recent past (Amsterdam 106 and Amsterdam Tavern).  Frankly, we couldn’t see a big difference in the layout of Dive 106 from its previous occupants, other than the space having some of the dive theme (as in nautical diving) scattered around.  As with other Dive Bar locations, the craft beer selection is solid with around 20 taps and additional bottled/canned offerings.  We look forward to returning here on our next NYC bar crawl through the neighborhood.
