Located at 202 Clinton Street, The Dancer is a rather small bar from the owner’s of next door bar Eastwood.  The vibe at The Dancer is rather chill.  There’s not much seating beyond the bar area.  The bathroom contains a rotating disco ball!  Definitely check out The Dancer on your next LES NYC pub crawl.

Located at 134 Ninth Avenue in Manhattan’s Chelsea, The 18^th Room is another speakeasy by the same folks as next door’s Bathtub Gin.  The 18^th Room is named for the National Prohibition Act, which ultimately became the 18^th Amendment ushering in Prohibition in the U.S.  Like its Bathtub Gin sibling, the entry into 18^th Room is through a Stone Street coffee shop.  Based on our visit, it appears as though a reservation, if not required, is highly recommended.  After entry, patrons can sit at the bar or in the somewhat spacious lounge just beyond the bar.  The staff is particularly attentive, offering free popcorn and quick to fill up patrons’ water glasses.  The artisanal cocktails are solid, though rather pricey at $18 a piece.  If you feel like splurging on your next night out, then a visit to The 18^th Room is in order.

Located at 58-15 Woodside Avenue in Woodside, Queens, Beerkeeper is a part beer bar / part Irish pub, picking up where Shelley’s left off.  The spot is fairly spacious with a tiny outdoor area in back.  The draught beers number around a dozen with a few hard-to-find beers.  The food menu is rather limited (think snacks and a few panini-like sandwiches), so if you’re hungry, you’ll want to go somewhere else nearby first before spending a long time at Beerkeeper.  Add in the friendly staff and Beerkeeper is an overall solid spot to include on your next Woodside NYC bar crawl.
