Located at 63 West 23rd Street, Store Front picks up were Limerick’s left off. We found Store Front to be an improvement over its previous incarnation. Store Front is part sports bar, part neighborhood bar with a 20-tap draught beer selection, along with a fairly standard bar food menu. We look forward to a return visit.

A review of Church Publick in Manhattan's Tribeca
A new addition to the Tribeca NYC beer bar crawl! Located in the location of the former (and disappointing/out-of-place) Mocca Lounge, Church Publick, at 78 Reade Street, feels like a good neighborhood/beer destination spot. Friendly staff and open for lunch/dinner seven days a week. We look forward to a return visit.

A review of Jack Doyle's in Midtown Manhattan
Located at 240 West 35th Street, Jack Doyle’s is a spacious bi-level midtown Irish pub. Somewhat of a surprising find in the western edge of (what’s left of) the garment district. Jack Doyle’s offers 24 tap beers, a mix of macro and craft brews; the Bar food menu consists of mostly standard bar fare. A dozen TVs for your sports viewing pleasure makes Jack Doyle’s a good per or post MSG sports hangout. Bar area has hightop tables downstairs and more seating upstairs. This spot opens for breakfast at 7am!

The Paris Cafe has re-opened!
We are happy to report that the Paris Cafe, located at 119 South Street in Manhattan and our favorite stop along the Old NYC pub crawl, has re-opened for business after nearly a year of renovations following Hurricane Sandy. We visited the Paris Cafe on a recent afternoon. While the dining area is basically the same, the main bar area was altered such that the bar is now against the southern edge of the space, instead of the western edge.
