Located at 328 West 45th Street in Manhattan’s Hell’s Kitchen, Beer Culture is another beer store / bar. Though, based on layout, we would call it more of a bar than a store, as the bar area dominates. Beer Culture’s store section offers sizeable coolers in the back of the space, but most if the spot is taken up by the bar area. Twelve taps, hundreds of bottled beers along with a limited selection of hard alcohol. A nice addition to the Hell’s Kitchen NYC craft beer bar crawl!

A review of Bondurants on Manhattan's Upper East Side
Located at 303 east 85th Street, Bondurants is another new addition to the NYC UES craft-beer pub crawl. Like its neighbor Five Mile Stone, Bondurants offers 24 quality draught beers from around the U.S. Bondurants also offers an extensive bourbon and handcrafted cocktail selection. If you’re lucky, you can snag some seats by the windows for some prime people watching along 85th Street. Bondurants has a bit of a rustic vibe to it. We look forward to returning here on our next bar crawl through the area.
A review of Five Mile Stone on Manhattan's Upper East Side
A bi-level spot, located at the northeast corner of 85th and 2nd Avenue in Manhattan’s Upper East Side, Five Mile Stone is a solid addition to the NYC UES craft-beer bar crawl. Opened in early March, 2014, Five Mile Stone offers 24 quality tap beers from across the U.S. (along with a few from overseas) as well as a dozen wines by the glass and another dozen or so by the bottle. Happy hour specials include $5 draught beers. With bars on both levels, Five Mile Stone offers high-top seating for parties of two and four. The downstairs bar is semi-circle shaped (as is the 24-tap beer system). We look forward to returning here the next time we are pub crawling in this section of NYC.
A brief review of Sweetwater Social in Manhattan's Greenwich Village
Sweetwater Social is an intimate subterranean lounge, located at 643 Broadway. This spot was the former Vault at Pfaff’s (which we visited about two years ago). Layout and space feel similar. It’s a great space and we wonder why this spot has turned over so many times in the last 10-11 years. We hope Sweetwater Social stays for a while.

A review of Wogie's in Manhattan's Financial District
Located at 44 Trinity Place in Manhattan’s Financial District, Wogie’s opens its second Philly Cheesesteak / craftbeer location in NYC. This location opened in February and, so far, is our front runner for best new NYC bar of 2014! Larger in size than its West Village location, Wogie’s in the Financial District offers several different types of cheesesteaks, bar food and other fare. The space is half bar and half booth style seating. Five TVs for sports watching and the space gets crowded at lunch time. A solid addition for the Financial District NYC craftbeer bar crawl.

A review of Brazen Fox in Manhattan's Greenwich Village
A new addition to the Greenwich Village NYC beer bar crawl! Taking over the former Hea space at 106 Third Avenue, Brazen Fox is a 24-tap craft beer spot that is a welcomed addition to the stretch of bars along the southern-most portion of Third Avenue. Bi-level and fairly spacious, Brazen Fox rotates its taps every two weeks or so (a must for a good craft-beer bar). The bar snacks (chicken wings, pretzel bites and risotto balls, to name a few) are excellent. Add in the friendly staff and this place must be included on any craft-beer focused NYC bar crawl through this part of town!
