Located at 304 East 78th Street on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, The Confession Box is a neighborhood bar just east of the intersection of 78th Street and Second Avenue. With two separate bar areas, The Confession Box is more spacious than it appears from just outside its front entrance. Along with a friendly staff, the spot offers ten tap beers and the food menu is a mix of Bar and bistro fare. Add The Confession Box to your next Second Avenue UES NYC bar crawl.

A review of Two Door Tavern on Manhattan’s Upper East Side
Located at 1576 Third Avenue on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, Two Door Tavern recently opened its second location in the five boroughs (the original spot is in Williamsburg). Fifteen tap beers, all-day happy specials on beer, wine and cocktails. Make this your next stop in your third avenue UES NYC pub crawl.

A visit to Ghost Donkey in Manhattan's NoHo
Located at 4 Bleecker Street in Manhattan’s NoHo, Ghost Donkey is a cocktail bar and redux of Madame Geneva (same owners). As the bartender explained to us, only few changes to the space have been made: festive ceiling lights and a miniature (fake) donkey mounted on the back wall. The photo below shows that donkey.
A review of Cannibal Liquor House in Manhattan's Murray Hill
Located at 111 E. 29th Street in Manhattan’s Murray Hill, Cannibal Liquor House is a craft cocktail spot from the same owner’s as next door’s The Cannibal Beer & Butcher. At $14 apiece, the drinks are fairly reasonable these days for Manhattan craft cocktail bars. Cannibal Liquor House also has a decent wine and beer selection. We found the staff here to be friendly. This spot is definitely worth a stop on your next Murray Hill NYC bar crawl.
A review of the Gray Mare in Manhattan's East Village
Located at 58 Second Avenue in Manhattan’s East Village, The Gray Mare is a spiffed-up redux of Dempsey’s Pub. From the same owners as the old Dempsey’s, The Gray Mare offers a dozen mostly-quality draught beers; mainly a mix of Tri-State offerings and other U.S. regional craft. The Gray Mare is a welcoming spot and worthy of a visit on your next East Village Second Avenue NYC bar crawl.
A visit to Union Street Pub and Crow Bar in Brooklyn
Two new spots for your next Franklin Avenue NYC bar crawl! Located on opposite corners of Franklin Avenue and Union Street in Brooklyn, these two bars opened earlier in 2016. Union Street Pub and Crow Bar extend the growing bar scene that exists just a few blocks north along Franklin. Both bars offer a good draught craft-beer selection. Be sure to check out these two spots while bar hopping through the nabe.
A review of Henri's Backyard in Brooklyn
Located at 256 Fourth Avenue on the Gowanus/Park Slope border in Brooklyn, Henri’s Backyard is the sibling location of Henri on Fifth on Fifth Avenue just one block east in Park Slope. Henri’s Backyard has a small bar and dining area inside. The backyard is where the larger portion of the establishment is located. The bar in the backyard has more draught beers than inside bar (18 vs. 6). The draught beer selection is a mix of local New York beers and other regional craft beers. The rest of the outdoor area has tables for parties of two or four. Add in the friendly staff and Henri’s Backyard is a must-visit for your next Fourth Avenue Brooklyn pub crawl.
A review of Draft Barn in Gravesend, Brooklyn
Located at 317 Avenue X in Gravesend, Brooklyn, Draft Barn is a German/Central European beer drinking spot on an otherwise quiet block in this section of town. In addition to the main bar area, Draft Barn has a German Beer hall-like room with long communal tables and then a sizeable outdoor drinking spot in back. Draught beer pours are available in 16 or 32 ounces. You’ll want to add Draft Barn to your next Gravesend NYC bar crawl.
A visit to Brooklyn's Coney Island Brewery
Located at 1904 Surf Avenue in the Coney Island section of Brooklyn, the Coney Island Brewery is a must-visit on your next venture to Coney Island. The brewery is located inside of MCU Park, the baseball stadium for the single-A New York Mets Affiliate Brooklyn Cyclones. The outdoor seating area is larger than the small bar area inside, from which you can see the brewing tanks. Up to ten Coney Island beers are available to sample, offered in pours of 4, 8 and 16 ounces. You’ll probably want to visit here after you’ve ridden the Cyclone and Thunderbolt roller coasters.
