December 5 marks the 86th anniversary of the end of Prohibition in the United States
December 5, 2019 marks the 86th anniversary of the end of U.S. Prohibition. On this date in 1933, Utah became the 36th U.S. state to ratify the 21st Amendment to the United States Constitution (achieving the required 75% of states to approve the amendment). This ratification overturned the 18th Amendment, which outlawed alcohol in the United States. So, how will you be marking the anniversary today, with a bar crawl in NYC perhaps?
