The sidewalk sandwich board, shown in the photo below, outside of Bar Great Harry on Smith Street suggests some interesting advice for these cold winter days.

The below photo is the sidewalk sandwich board located just outside the wine store, La Vid, at 315 6th Avenue.

The sign in the photo below (“In Dog Beers, I’ve only had one”) caught our eye at the bar Miles, located at 101 Wilson Avenue.

Earlier this month, during the recent very hot/humid weather in NYC, we passed by this chalkboard outside of the Mexican restaurant and bar Bodega Negra.

We saw the following sign on a recent NYC pub crawl at the newly-opened World of Beer in Manhattan’s Chelsea.

Located at 274 4^th Avenue on the Park Slope/Gowanus border in Brooklyn, Brooklyn Colony is a spacious sports bar, just a few blocks south of the Union Street R-train stop. The space has three different areas. A few video games greet patrons just past the entrance. The main bar area immediately follows. Past the bar area is a fairly large seating area. Eight draught beers are available, along with a full bar. Several TVs are available for your sports viewing pleasure. Brooklyn Colony has a daily happy hour that runs 3 – 7pm and has Live Music on some nights.
