Our favorite NYC bar openings of 2021 coming soon
Later this week, before we leave 2021 behind, we will announce our favorite new 2021 bar openings for Manhattan and Brooklyn. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this year we did not visit as many bars as we would like across NYC’s five boroughs. Hence, there are numerous 2021 bar openings that we have yet to visit. We hope to do so in 2022.
A review of Philomena’s in Williamsburg, Brooklyn
Located at 790 Grand Street in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn, Philomena’s is a recently-opened cocktail and craft beer bar. The space is welcoming, with about half-bar seating as well as a few booths and high-top tables opposite the bar. Seven draught beers pour mainly NY State offerings; nine house cocktails cost a reasonable $13 per drink. Window seating offers prime people watching along Grand Street. Add in Philomena’s friendly staff and this spot is a must-visit for your next Grand Street Brooklyn bar crawl.
