Located at 765 9^th Avenue (in the old Stecchino space) in Manhattan’s Hell’s Kitchen, The Cannery is a new sports bar and gastropub (from same owners as Lilly O’Brien’s further downtown in Tribeca). Ten tap beers and cocktails are the main liquid draw here. Food menu can be best described as a combo of upscale bar and bistro fare. This spot will make for a good place for college or pro football watching in the fall. Definitely stop in for a drink the next time you’re bar hopping along Ninth Avenue.
