Located at 1678 First Avenue on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, this edition of Shorty’s is their fourth location in Manhattan.  Taking over the former Bullpen spot, Shorty’s brings their sports bar / beer bar / Philly Cheesesteak formula uptown (the other three locations are all below 42^nd Street).  We’ve enjoyed the other three locations of Shorty’s and we are happy that this uptown spot opened fairly recently.  A great spot for any NYC Upper East Side beer bar crawl.  We look forward to another visit here.

Located at 333 Douglass on the Park slope / Gowanus border in Brooklyn, Threes Brewing is a brewpub / bar. When you visit Threes Brewing for the first time, remember the exact address or you may pass right by the place.  Threes Brewing offers 5-6 of their own beers and other craft beer from the U.S. A limited full bar is also available.  For food, Threes Brewing offers several weeks-long kitchen residences of nearby Brooklyn restaurants. Concerning the layout, the main bar area is located in the back half of the space and the brewing space is located behind the bar. We look forward to returning here.
