Here’s an interesting NYC pub crawl route proposed by Thrillist.com recently. Normally, we use cabs or the subway, but using the ferry is a thoughtful idea for the summer months. Full article located here: http://www.thrillist.com/drink/new-york/the-nyc-ferry-bar-crawl

A review of Ivy Grill in Midtown Manhattan
Located at 855 Eighth Avenue (near 56th Street), Ivy Restaurant & Grill is another lunch / Midtown-after-work spot. However, it is not just another Midtown Irish pub. The space is mostly made up of a large bar area with small high-top tables, along with a small seating area toward the back. Twenty tap beers are offered, mostly quality stuff. Food menu is a mix of gastropub and regular bar fare, including appetizers, sandwiches/burgers and a few entrees. Also has four TVs above the bar for your sports viewing pleasure.
