Located at the corner of Broad and Stone Streets in Manhattan’s Financial District, Broadstone Bar & Kitchen is a gastropub / craft-beer bar that opened for business just last week. According to at least two sources (New York Times and DNAinfo), Chumley’s, located at 86 Bedford Street in Manhattan’s West Village, will finally reopen on September 6 after nearly a decade of closure following a wall collapse inside the space. Chumley’s started business back in the 1920s as a true speakeasy during the Prohibition in the U.S. We’ve visited Chumley’s on numerous NYC pub crawls over the years and are very happy to learn that it will re-open in just a few weeks.
