A review of Belgian Beer Cafe in Manhattan's Flatiron District

Located at 220 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan’s Flatiron District, the Belgian Beer Café is a 100% Belgian beer spot and a must-visit for any Belgian beer NYC pub crawl.  Belgian Beer Café is large and spacious with views of Madison Park’s NW corner.  Belgian Beer Café offers 24 or so Belgian beers, along with wine and a full bar.  Growlers are available for takeaway.  The food menu, still partially in its soft stage at the time of this post, offers several mussel dishes, stews and bistro fare.  We look forward to a return visit here on our next bar crawl through this part of town.

A review of Cedar Local in Manhattan's Financial District

Located at 25 Cedar Street in Manhattan’s Financial District, Cedar Local is slightly off the beaten path and a new cocktail destination.  The space is mostly the bar and a few tables in front and a few tables in back.  Cocktails are the focus here (see photo of menu below).  Also some beer/wine available.  Throw in the friendly staff and Cedar Local is a good spot to visit the next time you’re pub crawling in the area.
